Brydon Cruise leads the group with more than 25 years of experience in real estate investment banking. He is responsible for originating and executing real estate M&A, debt and equity capital markets transactions for Brookfield Financial. Brydon previously worked as a Managing Director at RBC Capital Markets in the commercial mortgaged-backed securities business and developed a mortgage trading platform for the bank. His experience also includes working on the principal side as a Managing Partner for two prominent US based real estate finance investment companies, Fortress Investment Group and Lonestar Opportunity Fund. Prior to that he worked in the real estate investment banking group at Citigroup.

Notable transactions that Brydon has participated in include the privatization of Summit REIT by ING Real Estate, the Sale of Atlas Cold Storage to the Avion Group, the sale of Dundee REIT’s central and eastern assets to GE Real Estate, the formulation of Dundee International and the sale of Deerfoot Meadows in Calgary.

Brydon has a Business Degree from Wilfrid Laurier University. He currently serves as Vice Chairman of Board of the YMCA of Greater Toronto.

Leonard is a Managing Partner with Brookfield Financial, joining the group in 2005. Leonard oversees the company’s property advisory business on a global basis. Prior to joining Brookfield Financial, he was a Managing Director of TD Cornerstone which he joined in 1998 after TD Securities acquired the Cornerstone Commercial Realty the boutique property advisory that he established in 1995 following twelve years as one of CBRE’s leading investment sales professionals in Canada. Leonard has over 28 years of experience in real estate on the investment banking and brokerage sides of the industry.

Leonard’s focus has been the sale of all forms of investment product across Canada. He has been involved in major transactions in almost every province and has acted for clients in the sale of such notable transactions as Yonge-Eglinton Centre, Atrium on Bay, CN Central Station in Montreal and Deerfoot Meadows in Calgary, and most recently in the sale of retail malls throughout Brazil. Leonard and his team assist the firm's public, private, and institutional clients through property brokerage, M&A advisory and debt and equity financing and, as such, have successfully completed over $20 billion of transactions since 2005.

Leonard is a graduate of Boston University School of Management and holds a BSc in Business Administration Real Estate Finance. He is currently serving on the Board of Directors of USDS as its President, and served Robbins Hebrew Academy as its past President.

Eric Anton is Co-Head of Brookfield Financial’s US Brokerage Operation, and is responsible for originating and executing on real estate property brokerage and structured finance transactions primarily on the East Coast. Joining the New York Office in 2011, he has over 20 years of experience in real estate investment brokerage, advising on all aspects of the acquisition and disposition requirements for private, institutional and public company clientele. Prior to joining Brookfield Financial, Eric was Executive Managing Director for Eastern Consolidated, one of the top brokerages in New York City, and started his career with Bovis Land Lease, in Construction and Project Management. Eric has completed over $6 billion in real estate transactions including office, multifamily, hotel, and development sites.

Notable recent transactions include: the $122 million sale of the 1 million square foot Verizon Tower at Pearl Street in Manhattan to be redeveloped into a Telecom Hotel; a $125 million sale of land owned by Fordham University; and the 99-year ground lease transaction for a 200,000 square foot trophy hi-rise apartment building to be developed by Equity Residential Properties Trust. Additionally, BFIN NY has completed Loan Sales during 2012 for Bank of America, Deutsche Bank, and LoneStar Properties.

Eric is a graduate of Brown University and holds a Master's in Real Estate Finance from Columbia University. Eric is also involved with a variety of charities and organizations, including the Boy Scouts of America, Ronald McDonald House, and The Real Estate Board of New York.

As Managing Partner of Brookfield Financial’s Infrastructure Advisory Group, Patrick brings unparalleled experience in infrastructure delivery and financing with over 13 years of investment banking and development experience working directly as a developer, investor and financial arranger on some of Canada and Australia’s most prominent infrastructure projects. Patrick has significant experience in public-private partnerships and other green field development projects, debt and equity capital raisings and mergers and acquisitions. Most recently, as part of a Brookfield Financial assignment, Patrick was the Managing Director of WestNet Infrastructure Group, an AUD$1.8 billion natural gas transmission and distribution portfolio in Australia where he was responsible for the restructuring, refinancing, and ultimate sale of the group.

Patrick is a Chartered Accountant (Canada), Certified Public Accountant (United States), and graduated with an Honours Bachelor of Commerce Degree from McMaster University, Canada.
