Simon is an Associate in Brookfield Financial’s Australian office, covering infrastructure and real estate. Previously, Simon had been working with the PwC Infrastructure Advisory team for over 2 and a half years, and prior to that he worked with PwC Financial Services Assurance for 4 years. Simon has provided financial and commercial advice to public and private sector clients for the appraisal of investments and procurement of large scale projects. He has built and evaluated financial models for complex infrastructure projects for the road, rail, port, and specialist real estate sectors.
Notable transactions that Simon has participated in include the Oakajee Port and Rail Project, Gold Coast Rapid Transit PPP, the NSW Data Centre Reform Project, the sale of the Lane Cove Tunnel and the Peninsula Link PPP.
Simon graduated from The University of Technology Sydney with a Bachelor of Business in Accounting and Finance (Distinction) and completed the Chartered Accountants Program (Merit in Audit and Assurance).

Sam Bisla is an Associate at Brookfield Financial’s Sydney office, covering real estate.
Sam joined Brookfield in July 2011 and worked in the principle investing team prior to joining investment banking. Whilst at Brookfield Sam has worked on a number of significant transactions including the NZ$1.3 billion Bank of Scotland debt portfolio acquisition and the A$457 million Thakral M&A transaction.
Sam graduated from the University of London (London, UK) with a BSc in Genetics and holds a Masters of Real Estate Finance from The University of Cambridge (Cambridge, UK).

James Brooks is an Associate with Brookfield Financial, joining in 2011 and is focused on providing financial advisory services to clients in the infrastructure and renewable energy sectors.
Prior to joining Brookfield, James served in KPMG’s Transactions Advisory practice where he provided valuation services to a wide variety of clients including Canada’s largest pension funds, with a focus on infrastructure assets.
James is a Chartered Accountant and a Chartered Financial Analyst charterholder. James graduated from the University of Ottawa with an Honours Bachelor of Commerce.

Jenny Daly joined Brookfield Financial as an Associate in December 2012, bringing over 6 years of experience in real estate advisory, brokerage and appraisal services.
Prior to joining Brookfield Financial, Jenny was focused on appraisal and consultancy projects involving multi-family, office, retail, industrial and institutional assets at MacKenzie Ray Heron & Edwardh, Toronto. Prior to that, Jenny provided commercial advisory and brokerage services in Ireland.
Jenny is a Chartered Valuation Surveyor (MRICS) and a Candidate member of the Appraisal Institute of Canada (AACI). Jenny holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Trinity College, Dublin and a Bachelor of Science in Property Studies from Dublin Institute of Technology.

Stephen Doxey is an Associate with Brookfield Financial, joining the Toronto team in 2012 from CIBC World Markets Inc. Stephen is focused on providing research and analytical support to the brokerage and capital markets groups, and underwriting and performing due diligence for retail, industrial, office and multi-family real estate.
Prior to CIBC Stephen worked with the CPP Investment Board and the Bank of Canada. He has written in excess of $5b of combined portfolios, and participated in such notable transactions such as the Norelco Industrial Complex, TransGlobe Multi-Family Portfolio, Slate Canadian Office Portfolio, etc.
Stephen holds a BA, Honours Economics from the University of Waterloo and a Master of Financial Economics from the University of Toronto, where he served as the President of the Master of Financial Economics Student Association.

Sriram Ganeshan joined Brookfield Financial in 2013 as an Associate with 4 years of experience spanning strategic consulting and structured financial products in real estate. He is responsible for deal origination, structuring and execution of investment banking mandates in the real estate sector.
Prior to joining Brookfield Financial, Sriram has worked with Karvy Realty India Limited and Ernst & Young. At Karvy Realty India Limited, he participated in various real estate transactions which include structuring and fund raising via private placement of Non-Convertible Debentures for residential projects in NCR-Delhi and Bangalore; and land sale & buyback deals for a developer based out of Pune. At Ernst & young, he was a part of the advisory services team which provided consultancy services to companies across sectors such as infrastructure and finance.
Sriram holds an MBA from IIM Ahmedabad and a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from IIT Roorkee.

Thomas joined Brookfield Financial’s London team as an Associate in August 2012. He is focused on real estate capital markets, portfolio advisory and M&A activity for clients across Europe.
Prior to Brookfield, Thomas worked for IVG Investment where he provided support for the restructuring of the on-balance portfolio; activities encompassed the €1.3 billion G-REIT listing, a capital increase and the sale of non-strategic properties.
Thomas graduated from The University of Hong Kong with a Master in Real Estate Investment and Finance. He also earned a degree (Dipl.-Kfm.) at the University of Regensburg, specializing in accounting and real estate economics.

Gina Ignatieva joined Brookfield Financial’s New York Team in 2013 as an Associate. She is focused on Business Development and creating off-market transactions for commercial properties and development sites for the platform in New York.
Prior to joining Brookfield, Gina was a Real Estate Associate Broker at Douglas Elliman where she focused on market analysis and seller representation and has over 7 years of experience in property brokerage.
Gina is a graduate of Columbia School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation, where she earned a Master of Science in Real Estate Development, with her core curriculum including asset management, real estate law, asset repositioning, and real estate finance. Gina holds a Bachelor of Arts with Honors in Economics from Harvard University.
Gina is a scholarship recipient and is involved in WX New York Women Executives in Real Estate, an invitation-only association of executive-level women actively engaged in the commercial real estate industry in New York. She is fluent in Russian and Icelandic.
